The Online Artist is a feature on AMZ that has continued over from the original site. The OA allows users to post their artwork for others users to view, comment, critique and/or rate pieces on a scale of 1-5 stars. Staff would also Feature work on the news if it was that good. They made a conscious effort to try and choose different artists, therefore this did not happen a lot.

Sections Edit

The OA was divided up into five sections:

• AMZ related
• Non-AMZ related- pieces that weren't obviously related to AMZ were often moved here.
• Beginner- many below-standard pieces were moved here by staff, unlike Featured Art, however, you could post in this section.
• Collaborations- one user posts a sketch/line art, and other users finish it.
• Featured Art- Exceptional pieces from the AMZ related section were moved here by staff, you could not post in this section.

There was also a 'Top Art' section where pieces were displayed based upon what rating they got.

Future Edit

The OA was re-released on April 3, 2010. It was expanded to have the following categories:

• Sketches
• Photography
• Pokemon
• Pixel
• Featured Art

Artists can choose to disable or enable ratings and comments on their individual pieces of art. Additionally, when viewing a person's profile, there is a link to access their OA Entries.
