Appearance
Edit
The Mequar's fur is light blue, and its paws, ears and muzzle are dark purple. Its eyes are pupil-less and dark teal, as is its chest. Its tail, similar to a real-life raccoon's tail, is dark teal with zig-zag stripes of a similarly dark shade of purple. The Mequar's expression is dour, and its eyes are rimmed with dark purple, almost black. Its most recognizable attribute, however, are its large, angular ears.
Behavior
Edit
Mequar are clever and sly. They have learned to survive by thieving, whether it be food or expensive objects they can then resell. They are quite attracted to anything shiny, such as jewelry and gems, and have been known to horde stashes of shining goods in their nests.
In addition to stealing, Mequar also enjoy playing pranks on others.
Despite their mischievous personalities, it has always remained a very popular character, most likely due to its sleek appearance.
Habitat
Edit
Officially, Mequars reside in forests, however, as humans started to build cities and towns, they began to live closer to urban areas in order to have better access to the goods that people bring in.
Famous Mequars
Edit
- Fiyero is the smooth owner of Suave 'n' Sassy. He seems to be quite popular with the ladies (and even a few of the guys)! Must be those mystical Mequar eyes.

Ooh la la, it's Fiyero!
Added by DelhiK - Matilda was a character featured in the Imp plot. She was a "punk" and sported a pink mohawk.

Trivia
Edit

Added by Sayum- The Mequar was reintroduced to AMZ on May 17, 2009.
- The name was user-suggested in an official contest held in the forums.
- It was recolored with different shading after its reintroduction to AMZ but was soon changed back to the original image due to popular demand.
- According to Winx, the Mequar is based off of a raccoon, fennec fox and the Cheshire Cat.
- It has gone through two total revamps since its introduction to the original site, not including its brief recolor.
